Our Philosophy: Through Play Rugby USA values and beliefs it is our goal and passion to develop children both on and off the pitch. We at Manhattan RFC are proud to say that our coaches use Play Rugby USA’s unique coaching curriculum which focuses on a teaching games for understanding and game based coaching philosophy. This guided, teaching and learning style will keep players active, engaged, entertained and also give individuals the capacity and opportunity to think for themselves, improving their mental, physical, technical and tactical attributes both on and off the pitch. We have enjoyed huge success using this coaching style versus the traditional skills and drills method which can leave players inactive and unchanged for long periods of time. Our special community feel will make people welcome and valued, being part of a part of an exclusive sporting organisation based in NYC working alongside a collection of people from all over the world who share a love for the game of rugby.
