Our Prodigal Nation How long shall we dwell on the same issues as a nation? The reckless spending of our national wealth by those who hijack political power, the deplorable state of public health, education and social infrastructure and the irresponsibility of Government to the welfare of the people. Babies are born in abandoned hospitals, their mothers toil for the reward of poverty, their fathers remain impotent in the economy, and their older brothers are unemployed and remain social problems. How can we be so rich while our people still wallow in hopelessness? The people are in disorder because they do not have a father. A father is responsible for his children: Our Government has never shown the capacity to care for the people. The people take care of their health, the people pay their children’s school fees, and the people find a means to pay bills. The people are responsible for themselves. They spend all they have earned on what the government should have been responsible for, so the people remain poor. ... Aeroland
