Our Purpose in Life The Bible says: “Know from where you came, know to where you will go, and know to whom you must report.” What we can understand from these words is that in order to stay focused on the bigger picture of our purpose, we need to remember where we came from—from the speck that was the beginning of life itself; where we will go—back to that place; and most importantly, to whom we must report—our Creator. Our primary reason for existence is to play the game of life, a very serious game, of how much Light and energy we can bring back from what we were originally given in order to make the whole of the universe One. This realization can be difficult to absorb into our daily consciousness because oftentimes we forget that our soul’s purpose is not governed by the extraneous material things that we put into our lives, but rather by the fact that while we are here on earth, we are accountable to the Creator for our actions.
