Our Roing may not be fortunate to have universities and colleges, but we have few education entrepreneurs from the community, whose dedication towards education has seen growth of schools in the town making it as one of the favourite destination for school education in the Mishmi Hills districts. (From left to right) 1. Ms Jyoti Linggi, Chairperson Essomi Foundation Trust (EFT) that runs the lone private school (Intaya Public School) to have higher secondary status. 2. Dr Manaya Mena, Proprietor, Hornbill Public School dedicates her every second to give best education to the children, so much that her school has reputation far off. 3. Mr Napi Meto, runs his school Future Foundation Academy, and Injonu Residential School. 4. Ms Desai Linggi, Principal, Nani Maria School runs schools at Roing and Anini. 5. Mr Komini Meto, Secretary, Abralow Memorial Multipurpose Society (AMMS) runs the lone BEd college in the district. He has also transformed the education scenario of remote Hunli-Desali through his succesful management of KGBV, Hunli.
