Our SEARS Kenmore Elite Refrigerator is a lemon!!!!! This four year old refrigerator cost over $3000.00 and doesn’t work! After several repair visits still not working, they will not replace it under the Master Service Agreement we purchased at the time of sale. We no confidence in this Kenmore refrigerator or Sears Master Service Agreement!!!! The compressor failed July 21 2014. It took a week to order a new one and get it installed. (Who ever heard of a compressor failing at 4 years?) August 22, 2014, the refrigerator became warm again and we had to call for another repair service visit. The tech got the refrigerator to work again and said we should be all set and not have any future issues. He was wrong! Sept 6, 14 we found the food in the freezer AGAIN thawed OUT! Repair visit Sept 10, 2014, tech cannot fix the refrigerator and does not believe it is fixable; he called into the company and told whoever he talked that it cannot be fixed but THEY STILL want to try to fix the refrigerator. Apparently there is a leak that cannot be isolated, so now he is ordering parts AGAIN! Another visit is setup for next week Sept 17, 2104. He said, “2 techs will have to be dispatched next time and it will take hours for them to do the work with no guarantee it will cure the issue”! THIS UNIT needs to be replaced and Sears will not! Poor customer service!! Lets see what next week brings!
