Our Satisfying Service Hi Avinash, I got back to USA only 2 days before. I was in Chennai with my sister for a week. Regarding the trip to Kerala: Cochin is fine. We did not see Kathakali dance due to flight delays. Hotel in Kochin was good. We enjoyed the House boat. Food and scenary was great. However, the condition of the house boat is not that great. It was old not well kept. The room in the boat was not great. We found bit apprehensive the way we enter the boat. We have drag our luggage through mud roads though the people were helping, the weels of the luggage got so dirty with the dirt and dust. Overall experience was good. These things I mentioned above need improvement. Kovalam and Kanyakumari were great. Hotel in Kovalm was great. The guide in Kanyakumari (Mr Subiya) was excellent. You need to use him often, Apparantly, he was told a honeymoon couple is arriving. He was bit shocked to see little older couple. But we made it as honeymoon couple. Very good job on it. Overall we had a very good time. Houseboat situtaion needs improvement. We would like better big car. In USA, we are used to big cars and space. you may want to use the midsize car such as toyota or Hyundai especially for people from USA.
