Our Taste The Camino experience is over, and Im reflecting on what a wonderful week its been. I didnt have any expectations because one of my precepts for walking the Camino is: assume nothing; expect nothing. Had I had any though, they would have been exceeded - wildly. Yet again, Ive witnessed the power of the Camino in action. Ive seen, felt and heard transformation taking place. One pilgrim who was nervous about walking in the group for a week has decided to continue by herself. A second has re-connected with his talent as a song-writer and has already created the beginnings of a Camino song. And a third has set off to see how she can be of service to other pilgrims by helping in a refuge next year. How fantastic is that?
