Our U13s have had a tough season; difficult fixtures and a long injury list have stretched the team. On Sunday they didnt have enough players to play for the first time ever (A simple combination of injuries, illness and family commitments), this is after conceding 33 goals in the past two matches and only scoring one in return, and only having claimed 1 point all season despite battling hard every week and never giving up. The Herefordshire Junior Football Leagues response? An £15 fine and a 3 point deduction! The fine is perhaps justifiable for the admin of rearranging but what benefit does a points deduction have? It takes away their only point and puts them on -2. Its punishing them for being injured, sick or having a birthday. We have the right to appeal but are not even allowed to attend the meeting. Like or Share if you think its unfair.
