Our Warfield staff can’t believe how close we are to the end of the summer! We had an absolutely amazing week 5 with our volunteers from Aldersgate United Methodist Church & Grace Bible Church – they made great strides on our projects and were a pleasure to serve alongside! Now our staff is eagerly awaiting the arrival of our week 6 crews, who will be working on the following projects: Chocolate Gravy: This crew will be doing floor framing, subfloor repair/installation, and luaun underlayment & VCT floor coverings. Dodge: This will be a double crewed worksite - these crews will be working on roofing, floor framing, subfloor, and luaun underlayment & VCT floor coverings. Bowling Cat: This crew will be doing drywall, subfloor repair, and luaun underlayment & VCT floor coverings. Pickles: This crew will be doing foundation work, a subfloor repair in a back hallway, and floor coverings (luaun and VCT) in the front and back hallways. Boomerang: This work crew will be doing a kitchen subfloor repair, installing luaun underlayment, and laying VCT floor coverings. Up in the Air: This work crew will be serving in a unique situation - they will be working on several mobile homes in a mobile home park - work will include installing mulehyde roofing, underpinning, and ceiling trim. Duct Duct Goose: This work crew will be beginning a new project, and will be doing underpinning, installing insulation under the home, and putting up a porch/stair rail. Ode to Dennis: This will be a double crewed site working to install ceiling and wall insulation & drywall, siding, and floor coverings on a double room addition. Kingdom Hearts: This crew will be putting luaun underlayment and VCT floor coverings in a back bedroom and hallway, and will be doing drywall mudding and taping in another of the bedrooms.
