Our Weekend Adventure: We are here at the lake for my birthday weekend of fun. The house has 3 levels and it is beautiful. I had a little mishap before leaving for the trip. I was hurrying to get things packed and was moving my laptop and as I was coming down the hall, the cord got wrapped around my ankle and I had a pretty big fall. Lets just say I am pretty sore where the sun dont shine. I am not going to let it stop me though. Did I mention that this house has 3 levels, and lots of stairs. I am going up and down pretty slowly LOL. We ate at the Angler last night and it was good. The kids has the waitress bring me cake and sing!!! It was late when we got to the house so we are baking cookies with the kids later today and also carving pumpkins. Tonight we are going to have a campfire and grill. The guys have gone now to pick up the pontoon boat. I made all the kiddos grab bags which they enjoyed going through. The guys cooked a great breakfast. I could get used to being waited on. This morning I asked Louise if I could borrow her toothpaste. She said I could so I looked in her little black bag and got out what I thought was toothpaste. A word of advise, put your glasses on in the morning when you wake up before you brush your teeth. I didnt do that and brushed my teeth with Deep Heating Rub. I must say my mouth has a tingle to it. Luckily, I didnt swallow. It says seek medical attention if digested. I yelled for Cameron to come in the bathroom and I asked him if I was going to die and all he could do was laugh hysterically. I think this will take me a while to live down LOL. Wish us luck on the boat ride. I am scared of heights and it is a pretty good way down to the boat dock. I am so blessed to have all the big kids and little kids here. Everyone got to come but Melissa. She had some big tests coming up. We miss you Melissa. Everyone have a good weekend and stay safe. Who says you cant have fun as you get older!!! I will post pictures later.
