Our Word for Today No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. Hebrews 12:11 In our life training, God knows where we stand, knows how best we learn, knows the purpose of our training and has the best trainers – Jesus and the Holy Spirit. His tools are scriptures, ministers and brethren and sometimes enemies. He does the training out of love and completes what He starts. We must be strong and stand till the end. Prayer: Lord, your training is painful and very gainful in the end. Give us the strength we need to stand. You know where you are taking us. We surrender all we are and all we have for your glory. In Jesus name. Amen.
