Our Word for Today Verse: “Keep on asking and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking and you will find. Keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7 Truth: God hears and answers our prayers. An asking person will receive from God things a person who does not ask will never receive. ~We should keep asking until we have the assurance that we have received. ~Delay is not denial, sometimes delay tests our faith and dependence on God. Prayer: Lord, teach us to be persistence in prayer and not to give up so soon. We know you hear us when we call. Help us to keep asking, seeking and knocking, for we have no one us to turn to but you. In Jesus name. Amen.
