Our Yankee lost to the Indians last night 9-3 in a late inning melt down. They were leading 3-0 in the 7th thanks to a two run homer by Zelous Wheeler in the 4th inning. David Phelps was sailing along pitching a shutout in the 7th when he put two men on & was relieved by Matt Thornton. Matt gave up a bases loaded triple & a total of 4 runs. Jim Miller pitched the 8th & gave up 5 runs on 6 hits. Bottom line the bullpen imploded. The Orioles won & the Yankees are now 4 games out of 1st. They play the Orioles in a 3 game series starting tonight. This is the last series before the all-star game break. The Yankees need to dig down deep & defeat the Os. Lets go Bronx bombers.
