Our annual BREAKFAST BOWL will take place on SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 8 at 9:00 a.m.! Heres how it works...... There are 3 groups of bowlers: A bowlers have very good averages, B bowlers have so-so averages C bowlers have little to no bowling experience A bowler will draw a name from both the B bowler pot and C bowler pot and this will be their team. A bowler will start off the game by throwing his/her ball...if A bowler gets a strike, then B bowler will start the 2nd frame. If A bowler rolls anything less than a strike, B bowler will pick up the spare and then C bowler would start the 2nd frame. The game continues in this order. After each game, teams move on to the next lane and the game begins again with A bowler starting. After the 6 games, scores are totaled and EVERY TEAM WINS MONEY!!!! During each game, raffle tickets are sold for $1 each; therefore, the pot will vary with each game. Most games are well over $100. In order to win the money, your ticket must be drawn and you must get a strike. Donnie will keep drawing tickets until a strike is thrown and the money is rewarded. Following the Breakfast Bowl is another opportunity to win money, called Crazy 8s. To play, this is an additional $8. Traditionally, we start on lane 9 and you must get an 8 count or higher to advance to the next lane. Once you have gotten an 8 on each lane, all the way to lane 16, you return to lane 9 and must then roll a 9 count or higher to advance to the next lane. If you get all the way to lane 16, you would return to lane 9 and must get a strike on each lane to advance. Last man (or woman) standing, wins the money!
