Our annual bird trip was today which brought upon a variety of bird sightings and even a few whale sightings we sneaked in too! Birds of interest included an American Oystercatcher on Lunging Island(!), Red-necked Phalaropes, Corys and Great Shearwaters, Wilsons Storm Petrels, and two Parastic Jaegers. Whales included a couple of Minke whales, a Fin whale, and 6 Humpback whales: Jabiru, Chablis, Valley who breached(!), Raccoon, Six and Owl! Pretty cool we got to end our time watching whales with whale whos name is a bird :)
