Our apologies but weve had to turn off private messaging on our Facebook page as we were getting an impossible number of messages - which may seem like a good thing but - many of them come with impossible requests - like asking for personalised posters/letters and personalised No Consent posters/letters - and so many people asking the same questions that have been answered both here and on fliuch.org over and over again. Our apologies if this sounds rude - but - people need to do their own research (hint: Weve done most of it and put it on fliuch.org already). Theres a Search function on our website and its pretty easy to search through both our Facebook posts and our Twitter posts so rather than offend you by not replying to your messages (even though weve replied to all of them so far) we think its better that we just switch off messaging completely as we cant keep up with the number of messages and especially the number of messages that want the same info over and over again and the messages that want personalised documents/posters etc. In fact (and again we dont mean to offend anyone) we believe that whats going on in our Inbox is indicative of a profound and pathological problem in Irish society - people wanting to be spoon-fed their breakfast and to have their hands held all the way to school, held through the school day and home again and then having your homework done for you while being spoon-fed your dinner - and no one can do that for you. You need to learn to do the research yourself, use Google, use the Search function on fliuch.org and ask your questions by posting publicly to our page and let others reply (publicly) and give you the advice you need (dont worry well be watching whats being said to you). After years (decades?) of being treated like were stupid - like voting in referendums until we give the right answer or constantly hearing and accepting WAWWA - We Are Where We Are and TINA - There Is No Alternative - it seems like we Irish are losing (have lost?) the ability to trust ourselves, and to rely on our own sense of right and wrong, just and unjust, fair and unfair. YOU have the ability to find this information for yourself, YOU have the ability to ask others for advice - but most of all YOU have to learn to trust yourself again, trust your instinct, trust your ability to sift through the government and media bullshit, and trust your ability to see through the lies and propaganda coming from Irish Water Limited. Fliuch. p.s. Theres still a help/contact us option on fliuch.org for those people wishing to organise a public/residents meeting etc.
