Our authority comes from the Bible, the word of God. When our message is based on the word of God, just quoting from Scripture gives an authority. The Bible has its own built- in power. That’s the reason I use the phrase, “The Bible says.” When I say, “The Bible says,” I notice there’s a new attention from the audience. “Since salvation is in Christ alone, by grace alone, through faith alone, Scripture focuses on Christ, in whom salvation is found. Christ crucified, Christ raised, Christ reigning and coming again.” This Bible, when studied under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, will reveal to us certain things about communicating the Gospel effectively. You and I need to go back to the Gospels and observe the master communicator, Jesus Christ Himself. When we experience personal revival, our spiritual eyes will be open so we can see what God is doing, and we will be partners with Him. Arrange your material logically and persuasively, highlighting the Lord Jesus Christ and what God has done through Him for our salvation. In your message, present Christ as the only way back to God.
