Our baby girl took a turn yesterday so I rushed her to the vet. She was in shock by the time I got there a 5 min drive. After a quick exam and hooking her up to an IV for some fluids they had me take her to a specialist 20 mins away. We received the worst news last night (in April phoebe had her spleen removed due to a tumor that tore the artery coming out of her spleen biopsy showed at the time it was not cancer). Last night we were told her liver has several tumors and one ruptured, our girl is not in pain just very weak. They did blood work after other tests and her blood count was at 19% we decided to bring our baby home where she is happiest for one more night. Our girl is the best has been our and especially my companion since our daughter was tragically killed in 2002. We are heart broken and have to make a tough decision today. Feeling so sad I cant imagine our home without our precious girl who my husband calls the gift that keeps on giving.
