Our beer-inbibing baritone... Peter Terry, baritone, received vocal training as a singer from private instructors in New York, at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and at the Oberlin and San Francisco Conservatories of Music in the 1970s and 1980s. He has performed as soloist with orchestras, choirs and in concert series throughout the United States, including at Carnegie Hall with the Voices of Baha; at the Brooklyn Academy of Music with Il Piccolo Opera of Brooklyn; at Benaroya Hall with Orchestra Seattle; and at Copley Symphony Hall with the San Diego Symphony. In Israel, Terry has appeared with the Israel Philharmonic, the Haifa Symphony Orchestra, the Rehovot Chamber Orchestra, the Kibbutz Chamber Orchestra, the Herzliya Chamber Orchestra, the Technion Orchestra, the Hebrew University Orchestra, and various other instrumental and choral ensembles. He has also performed recitals in over 30 cities and towns in the United States; 20 cities and towns in Israel, 6 cities in India; in Bad Tolz, Germany, in London, England and Reykjavik, Iceland. He also sang in synagogues in Spain (Toledo), France (Paris) and Israel (Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv) with the Men’s Choir of the Great Synagogue of Jerusalem.
