Our big, lovable Sophie needs a new home! It is with a heavy heart that we must rehome our 4 year old female St Bernard. She has lived her whole life on an acreage and we would like to see her continue to live in a wide open space on an acreage. Sophie is a complete darling, sweet and very gentle. She takes her role as a protector very seriously against coyotes and such. She loves children and puppies LOL and belly scratches and will snuggle right in for lovings. She absolutely LOVES water too! Sophie is typically good with other dogs but if she feels that one needs to be corrected she will do so, assertive but not dominant. With all of these great qualities, she does have a couple vices. She would NOT do good around livestock. She has her eyes on our pigs, licking her chops in anticipation of their flavor. She has killed sheep and she has recently shown that she is even willing to go after our Mini Mule even with our large horse actively protecting him. We do not want to see her get hurt or be forced to be tied up all the time. So the time has come for us to find Sophie a new home. Sophie is already spayed, vaccinated and weighs approximately 120 lbs. She has lived pretty much strictly outdoors but she does enjoy coming into the house and is very well mannered when she is.
