Our bowlers were massacred by the indian batsman in the practice - TopicsExpress

Our bowlers were massacred by the indian batsman in the practice match, bowling in india in one dayers is the most difficult thing for a bowler to do, the wickets are flat, ball comes nicely on to the bat, out field is lightning quick, the ball travels faster on the air because the air is softer, the grass is like snooker table, short boundaries, 4 fielders outside the 30 yard circle and the noisy crowd. Australia played 7 matches in india in nov 2013 and in 6 matches they conceded 300+ runs. So its important our inexperienced bolwing line up bowl one side of thw wicket and follow the bowling plan. Kulasekara, Prasad, Thisara, prasanna , mathews and dilshan has hello fa job to do. ALl they have to do is to bowl a particular length (back of the length) 4 times in an over and not allow the indian batsmen to free their hands. Only Suresh Raina is in complete touch and this is good opportunity to put pressure struggling Kohli, Dhawan, Rohit and Rahane. Target Kohlis back foot defense and angle bat, Dhawans off stump line, Rohits foot work and Rahanes ball moving away from the body. Bowling at the death is key, last 12 overs 150 runs is gonna happen on most matches unless we hit the yorkers and slow balls right on the money. Would like to see this team and to be honest with have no idea hows Lahiru Gamage looks like. 1. Dilshan 2. Kusal 3. Sanga 4. Mahela 5. Mathews 6. Priyanjan 7. Niroshan 8. Thisara 9. Sekkuge 10. Kulasekara 11. Dammika Now this is a team that all XI can bat. I really hope our team proves me wrong and wins the tournament because they have a mountain to limb with an inexperienced bowling line up and trust its not gonna easy, watchout for 300+ scores in every game.
