Our boys seemed a bit quiet yesterday with not too much to say on Twitter or Facebook. Gianluca, however, did mention, in referring to the World Cup playoffs, USA IS IN. And, A world with all colors as one family, no racism with a picture of people of all races. A picture of the band was posted, all 4 of them sleeping, and Piero said, The band is super excited for the last show, Philadelphia. And Piero also said, Mom, Dad, Sister and everyone Ill see you in 3 days. After the concert last night, Piero tweeted, The tour is over now, lets go to sleep and tomorrow Europe. After their 2 concerts in Taormina on July 20 and 21, our boys will head west again to the city of Juarez, Mexico on August 1st and to Chihuahua, Mexico on August 2nd, at the opening of the Chihuahua 2014 International Festival. Gianluca tweeted, Not even finished this tour and another great one announced. Thank you all. Next stop, August in Mexico. Gianluca said tour...more info to come, Im sure. DONT CRY BECAUSE ITS OVER, SMILE BECAUSE IT HAPPENED! This quote, which I first heard from my friend, Donna, has been bouncing around Facebook for a while now. But it applies so well to our situation now that our boys North American tour is over. Those of us who were lucky enough to attend a concert, or 2 or 3 or even 4 or more, are feeling very sad this morning. We feel like crying because its over but then we think of our boys and look at the concert pictures and videos and all of a sudden a big smile appears on our faces because it DID happen. And it was such a wonderful time for everyone involved. Yes, we will still feel sad for a while and wish we could do it all over again. But our boys have to go on, visiting other places in the world and bringing their beautiful music to all the others who love them so. Gianluca, Ignazio and Piero, happy trails, travel well with calm skies, back home to your beloved Italy. You will be in our thoughts and prayers all day, as you are every day. WE LOVE YOU!! eleven
