Our chihuahua was attacked by an off leash dog by the river in fernie today. The owner (50 yards away while his dog launched into a sprint after our dog) did nothing. Didnt yell or run after the dog. Because he did nothing, his dog had a run in with steel toe boots. What happens in these situations? Is it worth reporting to the city? The dog was brown, looked like a pitbull/boxer/rotweiller cross breed. Our dog is ok, the other dog will be sore. The owner is the one who needs his ass kicked.
