Our children will also serve him. Future generations will hear about the wonders of the Lord. His righteous acts will be told to those not yet born. They will hear about everything he has done. (Psalms 22:30, 31 NLT) If we want our children to serve the Lord, they must hear about Him from us, their parents. It is not enough to rely on the church or those with more knowledge to provide all their Christian education. We must reinforce the lessons of the Bible in our homes. Consider reading your young children bedtime Bible stories, or having evening devotions with your older children. Pray with your children before bed. All three of my daughters gave their hearts to Jesus during our bedtime devotion and prayer time. Dad and Mom, make the time; its worth it, and its something your children will never forget.
