Our choices either build us or gradually destroy us, but they dont define us. We only encounter perfect strength when we explore our insecurities and learn from them. Sometimes we spend too long being ashamed of our struggle when we could be empowered by it. Theres nothing so empowering as a strong piller of the church to get up and testify of a struggle theyve gone thru and how Jesus brought them thru it! It gives us all hope and encouragement. Be couragously compassionate to yourself and others. We must not allow the pain from our experiences to permanately label ourselves or others. Perspective makes all the difference. Yes, I am going thru a long struggle with cancer, but it does not define who I am. I am still trusting God that He has my struggles, big and small, all under control. I pray that God continues to use me and my life to impact and encourage more people than the tears I have shed. The pain is very real, but its not my focus. My focus is on Jesus. He alone is going to bring me thru. Gods still got this! What is your focus on today?
