Our city breaks my heart every single day. Tonight when Mike (aka dad) was driving home from work, he saw this dog being pummeled in a yard by the homeowners dogs. Apparently, that is what street dogs deserve. These dogs that were attacking him just run the neighborhood and beat up on dogs (according to a neighbor). A passerby helped Mike get the dogs apart and I got a call that started with dont be mad. This boy is scarred from head to toe, but is the sweetest man. Some days I really dont know how to move forward in this city...constantly needing more funds, more time, more space. But, we dont leave dogs to be killed by other dogs or to suffer and die on the streets, so welcome Hinrich (named after one of Mikes favorite basketball players) to life off the streets.
