Our client, an international mining company, is looking to recruit a Finance Analyst. Reporting to the Administrative & Finance Manager Support Africa, you will be responsible for Payments, Accountancy, administering and diligently controlling the annual budget and monthly financial reports on time. Your duties will include: supervising and maintaining physical inventories as well as handling best practices for depreciation related to company assets (and arrange insurance for them if necessary) in accordance to the organizational practice, ensuring sufficient control practices on all companys expenditure are implemented and recording all operations in accordance with the financial legislation, IFRS and internal organization regulations, liaising with various support and control areas within the organisation, as well as other departments, responsible for management of petty cash, corporate credit cards and fuel cards, recon with receipts and month end reports delivered on time, in addition to, liaising with local legal advisors and Secretariat office for internal corporate governance and legal requirements.To be considered for this position you must have a ACCA or CPA (US) or CA (SA) qualification with a minimum of 5 years global experience. In addition, you must possess skills of a team player and be able to replace a colleague and delegate; have high energy levels, be analytical, possess excellent communication skills, be stress tolerant and be able to work under pressure.
