Our client is at an exciting stage of growth within the eCommerce market and are looking for a driven Digital Development Manager. They are building a new team of talented individuals to join this industry recognised global retailer and creating a unique opportunity to be part of a developing strategy in this fast paced area. Successful candidates will be educated to degree level or equivalent and will have excellent verbal and written skills. The focus of the role is to lead the ongoing development of the Omni-channel strategy across the website, mobile and offline channels. This is a business side role, working for the eCommerce Director. The role will involve working closely with the IT department and their third party suppliers, ensuring that the business requirements are correctly translated into technical changes. It is envisaged that the successful Digital Development Manager will have good previous experience in a similar role and must have experience of working in a large multi/Omni channel business, leading teams of technical and business analysts. The ideal candidate will possess: •A comprehensive understanding of eCommerce systems and processes, with a technical background and understand of IT. •Experience of managing third party System Integrators / Development Agencies, including commercial management of contracts. •Experience of working with UX agencies and have an understanding of UX processes. •Previous management experience with a team of business analysts, with a solid understanding of requirements definition, impact analysis, user interaction design, system interactions, data flow and systems/process mapping. •The ability to collaborate with the business teams to understand project scope and vision. •Strong knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies. •Experience of working on large waterfall methodology projects, with experience in each phase of the lifecycle. •Experience of managing a User Acceptance Testing function. •Be a strong communicator and have excellent problem solving skills. •Appreciation for business change management Duties will include: •Working closely with the trading, content and customer experience managers to define, prioritise and manage the Omni channel development roadmap. •Provide business and technical input into the overall Omni channel strategy. •Providing regular updates on innovate and emerging technologies that may align with our Omni channel strategy •Responsible for all functional developments across the Omni channel landscape. •Management of development budget, aligned with roadmap prioritisation and third party estimates. •Management of a team of Business Analyst and User Acceptance Testers. •Management of third party System Integrators/ Development agencies/ UX agencies, ensuring quality standards are met at each stage of the life cycle. •Providing the primary interface between the business and IT.
