Our client is an indigenous company with a strong technical and development team and with an in-depth understanding of the requirement of Indian Security Agencies the product software’s related to Crime Analytics HP Software looking for BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER Summary: The business development manager is responsible for achieving all sales and revenue goals for an assigned customer segment by developing, building and strengthening long–term relationships with customer and vendors The position will involve business development and deal making skills including strategic consulting and needs assessment, identifying and driving new business opportunities, pricing and contract negotiations and working with internal developer team experts to propose solutions to prospective clients. This position Reports directly to the Managing Director . Roles & Responsibilities: 1) collaboratively works with assigned Inside Sales Representative to develop an overall territory account plan in order to maximize opportunities and generates sales activity with sales force team 2) Achieves/exceeds monthly sales targets and gross profit quota by identifying, prospecting and Qualifying new customers and selling through strategic partners in a geographic territory 3) Leads negotiations, coordinates complex decision-making process, and overcomes objections to capture new business opportunities 4) Evaluates software contract spend and utilization in a given organization. Must then be able to optimize spending patterns, technology usage and implementation strategies. 5) Grows and maintains existing customer and partner relationships in territory by utilizing question based selling methods to ascertain customers’ needs in order to craft relevant solutions 6) encompassing software licensing and/or technology related services 7) Supports marketing related events, seminars, mailings and ll campaigns to increase brand Awareness and presence in the local market 8) Develops strong knowledge in licensing, negotiation and relationship skills. 9) Be the field resource to customers and partners for leading industry volume license offerings Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 10) Professional sales experience in high-tech or service-related industry with preferred successful Software sales A) Experience in Solution Selling techniques with an emphasis on strong account management B) Proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas Capable of building relationships at higher level in Government both State & Central / Defense / State Police Dept.,/ PSU’s / Para military forces / all law enforcing agencies / Financial Institutions, Corporate c) Having hands on experience in promoting IBM and HP Software products c) Highly motivated and results oriented d) Strong presentation, communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills e) Solid problem solving and consultative skills required f) Ability to work in a fast-paced team sales environment with minimum supervision g) Generate new business apart from leading the existing leads H) Willing to travel across India. i) Build a strong Sales & Marketing Team. k) Work closely with the Managing Director to ensure that all opportunities for new business are capitalized on and no stone is left unturned in the pursuit of new business. l) Thorough knowledge of participating in tenders, Desired candidate profile Candidature must the capacity of a Senior Business Development Manager preferred age group of 40+ having 10 + years of experience in IT Sales environment preferably IBM & HP software, with engineering or diploma in electronics academic qualification Key comprtanance : converting existing funnels to Orders and bringing new funnels.
