Our community is sad to learn that Dexter alum Ben Bradlee, Class of 1933, has died. Mr. Bradlee was the longtime editor of the Washington Post, and was known for his role in the Watergate coverage. From the NY Times: In his memoir he confessed to having no overarching prescriptions for the practice of journalism. He wrote that he knew of nothing more sophisticated than the motto of one of his grade-school teachers: Our best today; better tomorrow. Put out the best, most honest newspaper you can today, he said, and put out a better one the next day.
