Our continued public statements not really supporting what he is trying to accomplish is insane. Remember how Reagan wasted two critical years when Gorbachev tried to work with us but needed and asked for our help. That delay ultimately led to Putin. Yesterday Obama stated that he is going to make Iran one of his top foreign policy objectives. Once the nutty Republican Right gets their asses kicked out of power we may be able to focus on jobs and the destruction of life on earth i.e., the environment.
