He must be the most upright president Ukraine has ever seen, and is very open about sharing his testimony how he became a believer. Putin and the Russian media call him a thug and the whole current government illegitimate. I think someone is confused. The previous president Yanukovich, who Putin supported so whole-heartily who was impeached (thank you Jesus!), has been in jail more than once (which legally disqualified him from ever running for president in the first place), been accused of rape, used to be part of a gang who stole hats from people when he was young, and is now famous for leading Ukraine into a cesspool of corruption beyond anything it saw in the past. Interestingly, the individual assigned by Russia to be the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea, which was recently annexed from Ukraine by Russia, also has a shady past with alleged links to organized crime. Putin and the Russian media/propaganda machine seem to have their own definition of what legitimate and legal means.
