Our custom is to dine out on Saturday evenings. But, wanting to continue to prepare for tomorrows service, we dined at Casa de Sackandy this evening. Grilled tuna steaks in an apple, pepper jack, jalapeño , molasses sauce- Karen made her incredible romanced home fries ala pappy Perchy and grilled broccoli in Italian spices. We dined al fresco with sounds of the waterfall and the katydids reminding us that summer will too soon be over. For dessert, we grilled fresh peaches in a honey, Frangelica Sauce, scooped generously over big bowls of moose tracks ice cream. God IS good!
