Our day continued with a trip past the Arc de Triomphe then on to the Eiffel Tower. That structure is overwhelmingly humongous!!! And, for me, intimidating! I had no desire to go up in it!! Then on to a very well protected Seine river cruise, where we met a Michigan fan...Go Blue!!! Dont really know why there was military presence. We saw them at the Musee du Louvre, as well. It was difficult to get good pics from inside the boat, but here are a few. A bit of the Pont Alexandre III bridge given by Russia to France to symbolize Russian French friendship, the best pic I could get of Notre Dame...lame..., the Musee dOrsay, and then back to the Eiffel Tower! Befriended a mime, although he had nothing to say, and then as close to under the Eiffel Tower as I could get without going in it. We ended the day with a bite to eat at the Bleus au Village sidewalk cafe.
