Our director Cole Hogan made the following statement today regarding the budget and a potential #Saskatchewan #ReformAct -- bit.ly/1gWW3kU It is the opinion of the Walter Scott Centre that The Saskatchewan Party government is headed in the right direction in terms of economic growth. Saskatchewan continues to have the lowest unemployment numbers of any province and continues to refrain from increasing taxes on #Saskatchewan citizens. Walter Scotts administration oversaw the creation of Saskatchewans roads - we applaud the Sask Party governments investment in our roads and highways. We would however, encourage the Sask Party and Saskatchewan New Democratic Party to support digital skills development programs in this province. In an increasingly digitized world our citizens need the digital skills necessary to compete in todays labour market. Finally, the Walter Scott Centre will be holding a panel on the #ReformAct on Monday, March 24 which will include a formal vote. This vote amongst the panelists will decide whether or not we will lobby Sask Party and Sask NDP MLAs to introduce an amended version of the Reform Act in the Legislature. This is what the Walter Scott Centre is about. Presenting clear options to Saskatchewan citizens. We are a think and do tank.
