Our dress rehearsal for Handels Messiah was tonight, the dress rehearsal is a better-than-front-row seat for something incredible, esp. when the soloists face the choir! Ive always loved the work, and have always felt the poser loving it so much while being ,er, not a Christian! I mean take this: Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned. I dont know what was happening in Jerusalem when the bible was put together...but now? Na-uh --dont think that warfare is anywhere from over-- and that kind of iniquity most likely doesnt come with any get out of jail free cards.
