Our ego gets in the way of so many of our blessings! Our ego causes us to take on more than we can handle! Our ego makes us run from the very help we need and the very people that care about us! Are we really that conceited that we believe this false image of strength and perfection really hides our flaws and solves our problems? NEWSFLASH! Were not Superman! Were human! We make mistakes! We dont act like we should! We miscalculate and misjudge people and situations! We are not always prepared! We are late sometimes! We dont dress properly! We hurt people with our words and actions! We are weak! This is why we need to humble ourselves and rely on the strength of the Lord and the people He has placed around us! We have very little power on our own! I pride myself on always striving to be the best in everything I do! Unfortunately, there are times I leave God and others who can help me out of the equation because I want to show people I am strong, intelligent, hard-working, and capable! I AM NONE OF THESE WITHOUT JESUS! Lord, help me to understand that without you, I can do nothing!
