Our elf, Elfis, just got a new assignment and Im so thankful our elf at school decided not to make his debut today. We are sooooo going to do this!!! As a teacher and a mother, it really disturbs me to see these elves teaching children to do naughty things. I know we all like to have fun and its silly, but whats the principle behind these elves??? Are we trying to remind our children what its like to do nice things, behaving each day - especially in a time where disrespect is such a common ground for so many children in both homes and school- or are we encouraging them that its okay to be a little mischievous from time to time as long as no one gets hurt? People have used these elves to create horror videos on places such as YouTube where innocent children are being frightened of a tool that can be beneficial if used in the correct way. I LOVE this idea and am so thankful my friend Faith shared it. Jesus is the Reason for this Holiday Season. :-)
