Our family is in mourning: yesterday the grand patriarch of the Angel family passed away. My father-in-law was a tough act to follow. He was so active flying his little Piper airplane, windsurfing, playing in a rock and roll band, but most importantly, being a community leader. He and my mother- in-law modeled for all of us community service. They also taught us that life is hard but we can rise above the circumstances; they are the models for not letting details get in the way but instead persisting and moving forward. I pray I can leave a strong legacy such as this. Pops love for God and for family was the strongest I have ever seen. Because of his love, our Angel family is tightly bound to each other. We will always be supportive of each other, knowing that our family love is a blessing from God.
