Our family lost an amazing man today. My grandfather will be missed my so many people. It breaks my heart that he will not be here with us any longer.. Oddly enough I look to my innocent 3 year old for guidance & strength.. When she asked why I was upset, I told her that Pawpaw Jim GOT to go to Heaven today.. Her response was as honest & and true as they come. She said to me with the biggest smile of pure excitement Mommy, do you think he will get to ride the horses with the rainbow hair?! And on our way home tonight, out of the blue, she says Mommy, do you think we can get angel wings one day & fly around Heaven? My response to her Yes, yes baby girl we sure can! Oh how I wish we could all see life through the eyes of a pure child.
