Our featured alumnus this time is a recent BHRA success story. Ms. Lillie was adopted recently but has already made a huge impact on her family. Lillies family wrote this about her: It has been an eventful 6 months with Lillie in our lives. We have enjoyed every minute of it though. It had been a long time since I have had such an active puppy because as we all know bassets are so lazy and thats what I was used to. She loves to play with us and her toys and loves to walk and walk. She is just so grateful to have a home and family you can just tell :) She loves getting her ears rubbed and as it took her the last 6 months to get used to it she loves cuddling and snuggling next to us and under the covers and sleeps on a pillow now, such a diva! She loves her doggy door and playing outside chasing squirrels and chipmunks (guess she still has to act somewhat like a dog lol) she has been such a great addition to our home, do not know what we would do without her.
