Our featured artist at the first edition of Saigon Urban Flea Market is Sami Eldirdiry-Osman. A half Sudanese, half British artist currently based in Ho Chi Minh City. He is heavily influenced by traditional cultures from around the world as well as his own multicultural upbringing and this shows through in his art where you can see a flavour of traditional art from Africa, the Middle East and Central America. With a focus on portraits he uses lots of colour and strong contrasts between light and dark to create expressive faces with bright eyes. Do not miss it! Sunday 11th January at Saigon Outcast
