Our first Film Society screening will be this Thursday the 25th. Were continuing our tradition of showing popular and iconic films on the Heriot-Watt Campus, and we invite you to join us and share in the experience. The venue is in the David Brewster building, room 1.14. For those of you unfamiliar with the layout of the north buildings, thats the first building on your right after following the corridor all the way down past the shop, bank and lecture theatres. We plan to start at 6:30pm. The film well be showing on Thursday is Time Bandits. Created by Monty Pythons animator Terry Gilliam after the group split up, Time Bandits is an inventive and entertaining comedy that follows an ordinary boy who finds himself kidnapped by a gang of time-travelling thieves. Featuring a ton of historical blunders and nonsensical situations, as well as several cameos by Gilliams Python comrades, were sure youll find it a treat. We hope to see you then.
