Our first arrival tonight is Gertrude. This beautiful Airedale - TopicsExpress

Our first arrival tonight is Gertrude. This beautiful Airedale asked if we could please put her speed up to super supersonic levels. She needed to get here very quickly and let her family know that she was OK. Ozzie and I did as she wished and now she is safely in our paws. Gertrude left her Daddy, Paul Torney and her fursister Molly, in Australia. She knew it was time to come here. Gertrude had the lumpies, just like me. That lymphoma sure does make you feel lousy. But now Gertrude feels great. As soon as Gertrude started her journey here Ozzie and I rerouted her to England. You see, her Mommy Kate Torney and her special boy Ptolomy were in England and Gertrude needed to see them again. She knew her mommy and brother were sad that they werent with her at the time of her departure. She doesnt want them to feel sad...she knows they couldnt get back in time. Thats why we sent Gertrude to them! As soon as Gertrude spotted them she felt this rush of love for them. How she loved her boy.....she watched him grow since he was an infant. Gertrude hovered over them and left them signs that she was there. She hopes they each find the little piece of her heart that she left under their pillows. She also hopes she didnt hurt them too much when she yanked out pieces of their hair. She is going to put the locks of hair in a heart shaped golden locket that we will hang around her collar. Ozzie was able to catch Gertrude in his pass as soon as she floated down towards him. I immediately wrapped her in her Golden Blanket and we gave her a group hug. Gertrudes smile is incredible....so warm and tender. It reflects all the love she had been given during her lifetime. We assured her that her family will recover from this terrible pain and everyone will help them. That made her feel better. Gertrude is going to hang her pictures up in her seaside cottage...she has lots of photos , especially of her with her boy, Ptolomy . Gertrude chose a very special star. It has super reflective powers. It will shine over Oz where her Daddy is and over England where her Mommy and brother are. When the family is reunited the illumination will be doubly bright and forever shine over her Earthly home . Gertrude hopes her boy will always feel her tail wagging in his heart. She vows to always watch over him and be there for his long lifetime. She will be there for his birthday parties, his graduation, his first kiss. And one day , as he walks down the aisle to marry the love of his life, Gertrude will be walking by his side. All you have to do, Ptolomy......is BELIEVE!
