Our first cover feature was Bahamian Hip Hop artist Barz Noble. He dropped a solid, diverse debut album titled Symphonic Signatures and released two music videos in support of that project in rapid succession. The Music of Life video went on to be recognized by The Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival along with its director, David Hanna. Barz is also the first music artist to gain permission to shoot a music video inside The National Art Gallery of the Bahamas for the single, What Will It Be. He was then nominated for six Caribbean Gospel Music Marlin Awards including Pop/Rock Recording of the Year and Album of the Year. Currently, he has two brand new, full length album projects nearing completion. Some folks asked back then, Why place a brand new artist of the cover? The last year has all but silenced those critics and justified our confidence in recognizing and selecting a world class talent early one, in what will undoubtedly prove to be a vibrant career both in music and ministry.
