Our first ever Solstice Exhibition! Heres how to enter. Who can enter? You have to be a member of this group, an energist, an artist, and have been a member for at least 3 months. What can you enter? Any form of ENERGY art - poetry, painting, music, photograph, sculpture, video (of you dancing! :-) in digital form as its an online exhibition. * Energy art is original, vision based works designed to create an evolutionary change in the worlds (thats the magic part) rather than art therapy style re-telling of the old or pouring your pain on a canvas. As far as I am concerned, there is definitely a strand of making the worlds a better place to energy art; so although in the pure definition, energy art that causes folk to riot, throw up and start murdering each other is of course also energy magic art, I reckon we have enough of that already and its time for some bright young things instead. How much to enter? This is very specific and has its magical reasons. You need 4 pieces that were done THIS YEAR (important!) and a fifth piece that you have done specially for this exhibition, after December 1st but before December 19th. So an entry consists of five photographs, or five paintings, or five videos, or five poems, or five songs, or one of each, or some of each plus two sculptures - five pieces in total. What else do we need? A short personal paragraph on who you are (please not a stodgy artists bio)(tip: get high, +5 and above, and write what your energy mind sends you!)(at least on this occasion and for this exhibition!) A snapshot of you as the artist. Take a selfie of you being an artist and add it. The price of the work if it is for sale. How do we transport this? Make an album right here on this group, title it with YOUR NAME plus 2014 (so mine would be called Silvia Hartmann 2014), and upload your exhibition images to it. Even poets and musicians and video makers need their artists snapshot, so if thats the only image you have, put the text or links to the mp3s or videos into the description of that image. All needs to be in place by December 19th, preferably earlier, so I can assemble it to go online for the exhibition. ***** Please note that by taking part in this, you are stepping forward and making history :-) I am absolutely serious about creating an energy art movement, complete with manifesto, and change the course of art and magic thereby. It will have things in it (the manifesto, that would be) such as that art is everybodys birthright; that without energy, there can be no art; that art is magic; and that it is the energy that counts, and not the craftsmanship (to put an end to the crazy elitism which demands you need to study for 50 years and paint exactly like Michelangelo before you can call yourself an artist.) Itll be awesome for the folks in a hundred years from now to see how we started, and WHO started this. Be one of the true pioneers of human endeavour!
