Our first home game is this Sunday, we hope everyone is getting keen to sing and let off some steam. Things to remember when you stand in the terrace: - Stand and sing for a full 90 minutes, even if we are losing, we stand united and we never lose our voice - Please respect the capo. This means you dont start your own chants or ignore what he is saying. The way to create the best atmosphere and the biggest sound is if we all work together. - Learn the chants and songs. We have a Melburnians app on the Google Play and Apple stores with all the lyrics; or simply ask the people around you, there is no shame in not knowing the words! - Your view may be obstructed for some or all of the game by flags and banners; feel free to shift seats to see around them as we rarely take notice of our seat numbers, but just be aware that the terrace isnt always prime for match viewing. - Most importantly, please do not rip flares in the terrace. It is true that pyros can certainly bring a party, but unfortunately not the type of party that the club endorses; so they have kindly asked us to encourage active supporters to refrain from using them. Match bans, points suspensions for the team, and loss of banners, tifos and instruments are all measures the club will have to take if flares are ripped in the terrace. We hate being the wet blanket on someones fun but we have to meet the club half way and be thankful for all the cool things we are allowed to do on match day. Thats it folks, see you Sunday - 12:00pm at The Imp. Lets get rowdy!
