Our first meet is this Saturday, the 14th at Apache Blockhouse Pool. The meet starts at 9am, with warm-ups beginning at 8am. I will let the swimmers know what time I would like them to be there later on this week, but it will probably be around 7:30am. Since the meet is so close to the school, transportation will not be provided. Each swimmer is responsible for getting himself/herself to the meet and back home. We have also been asked to provide 6 parent volunteer timers. It is critical that we fill these 6 slots, as the Meet cannot run without volunteers. If you are able to time, please let me know as soon as possible. It is not a difficult job, and it guarantees you a front row spot to watch your swimmer! Also, we have had a slight change in the meet schedule. The Meet at Round Rock on 10/12 has been moved to 10/10 at 5:00pm. I have also cancelled the meet on 10/18 due to Homecoming. The Meet is in the process of being rescheduled for January. I am also in the process of finalizing 3 meets for November, and I hope to hear back from the other coaches shortly.
