Our first program of the year is tonight! Program: Butterfly Gardening plus a Musical Treat! Monday, September 15, 2014, 7:30 PM Swaim Memorial United Methodist Church 1620 Naldo Avenue, Jacksonville, FL (edit map) Speaker: Michael Boulware, Florida Museum of National History. Come learn about natures winged miracles in this program about butterflies. Well learn about butterfly gardening, water conservation, a little about Florida history, endangered species and the inter-relatedness of all things great and small. Printed materials will be available: plant lists to attract pollinators to your home, butterfly pamphlets, coupons for 1/2 price admission to the Butterfly Rainforest (use it at our field trip!) and a few examples of plants that attract butterflies. Mike, a man of many talents, will bring his guitar for a short musical session. Maybe well even get to write a song! Come find out.
