Our forecasters have issued an ACTION DAY for OZONE for the FRONT RANGE URBAN CORRIDOR, in effect from 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 26 until at least 4 p.m. Thursday, June 27. The affected area ranges from El Paso County north to Larimer and Weld counties, including the Boulder, Colorado Springs, the Denver-metropolitan area, Fort Collins and Greeley. Very warm temperatures and favorable winds for ozone development are expected to produce concentrations in the moderate-to-unhealthy-for-sensitive-groups range on Thursday.
